Julius Caesar

Sender-Receiver Relationship
The relationship between Antony and the crowd is that they are all people of Rome and they all love and respect Caesar. As Antony slowly reveals that Brutus and his fellow conspirators plotted against and killed Caesar, the crowd begins to get angry and eventually takes off in a riot to find and kill the conspirators.

Message
Antony’s argument is about how he justifies Caesar’s death with the conspirators. He then tells the crowd that before his death they all loved him and that he misses him more than anyone but they should love him as well. He then tells the crowd that he won’t hurt the conspirators but at the end he convinces the crowd to attack the conspirators indirectly.

I think that if everyone became allergic to friendship then we’d be screwed. The world would be a bland, boring place and there would be no point to life. Friendship is what drives people to want to do things and without friends, we would have no cooperation or motivation. People don’t really need vegetables to survive. Yes they keep us healthy but they are not a necessity for life. To be honest, this question is pretty stupid.

If I could read the quote I would probably try and write something at least halfway intelligent but since I cannot, I’m just gonna explain to you that I have no idea what you’re asking. All I know is that it has something to do with memories but other than that I am clueless. Here’s a little fun movie trivia though. In the movie Titanic, the picture that Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) draws of Rose (Kate Winslet) was actually drawn by the director of the movie, James Cameron. I know, it’s pretty cool.

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee.” – Jules Winnfield, Pulp Fiction

Children’s Rights

1) I do believe in some cases that the principles given by the General Assembly Resolution and Nelson Mandela are being met in America. Most kids are supplied with the necessary opportunities to better themselves in life but in cases, for example trafficking kids, these principles are not being met. As for if these principles are being met in the world, they absolutely are not. There is a lot of trafficking of kids around the world and many countries neglect and exploit children. There are also a lot of countries that do not provide children with a proper education.

A time justice was served: In the Dark Knight, justice was served when Batman finally captured the Joker and sent him to Arkham Asylum.

A time justice was not served: Justice was not served when O.J. was not convicted of the murder he definitely did commit.

The true nature of justice is being punished for someone’s wrongdoing. Justice can be served in a number of ways, whether it be punishing a student for talking in class or sending a criminal to jail. Depending on the severity of the crime, justice is a way to make the person think about their actions and try to prevent them in the future. I think justice should be served for all wrongdoing because if it’s not then no one will ever learn from their crimes and mistakes. Serving justice to people that really deserve is one of the most satisfying things in the world.

If I could commit one crime and not get in trouble for it I would probably just be very unoriginal and rob a bank. If I did rob a bank though, I would go all out so I could get the most money possible. To prepare myself, I would go home and watch ten of my favorite movies involving bank robberies and take notes so I could make my bank robbery the best in history. I would have so much money that I would never have to work again. It would be legen…. wait for it…. dary!!

I recently saw Good Will Hunting and it was amazing. If you haven’t seen Good Will Hunting then you need to right now. It’s about a janitor at Harvard who is a genius but he never really strives to do anything with his life because of his messed up past. One of the teachers notices his genius and tries to make a future for him by sending him to one of his friends who tries to help him get over his troubling past. It features Matt Damon, Robin Williams, Ben Affleck, and many other great actors who all give awesome performances. I strongly suggest everyone who hasn’t already seen it to go out and rent it now.

I am definitely evangelical about movies. My whole personality is built off of movies that I’ve seen and they greatly influence the things I do, say, and think. Movies are extremely important to me because they are an escape for me from the world. I watch them to release my emotions and help me get through the day when I am not in the mood to talk to people. Most people may think that movies are just a form of entertainment but to me they are much more important than that. Movies have defined my sense of humor, given me great life lessons, and have even inspired me to want to pursue a career in filmmaking. Without movies, I am nothing. I strongly implore everyone to just go watch a movie and really try and connect with it.

It is not always wrong to be selfish. Sometimes we need to think of ourselves in order to survive and be happy. It’s true that someone can be happy by thinking of others more than themselves and constantly helping other people but to be honest, there isn’t a single person on earth that isn’t thinking abut themselves at times. It is just in our nature to be selfish. It doesn’t make us bad people because we think of ourselves. What we should do is try and be selfless and help others just as much as we help ourselves.

I do not believe that information should be kept from people and only be given to certain individuals. This is very unfair to people who may not have been born in a family that could afford to send them to colleges or jobs that give out information that is unaccessable to the public. There should some restrictions on certain information that could be used to harm others or perform any other illegal acts but other than that, I think all information should be accessable to people.

I agree with parts of the gun control act but not all of it. I think that its fine for people to have pistols and very small guns but anything larger than a pistol should be restricted from people. It’s ok for an old lady to have a permit to carry a small pistol in her purse to protect herself but for somebody to have a rifle or a shotgun is much different and more dangerous. Of course we cannot completely get rid of guns but we should at least try and restrict the extremely dangerous ones that most people aim to use in school shootings or something like that.

Last week I saw Gangster Squad in theaters and it was absolutely amazing. I had been looking forward to seeing it for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait. The movie was about the rise of Mickey Cohen in 1940s Los Angeles and the team of cops that tried to take him down. It starred Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, and the gorgeous Emma Stone. Each and every one of the actor’s performances in the movie was fantastic and very believable, especially Sean Penn as Mickey Cohen. I strongly suggest anyone over the age of 14 go see it.

Hero Outline

Is a Hero Really Nothing but a Sandwich Thesis Statement

Thesis Statement:
For several years, a picture of Warren Spahn of the Milwaukee Braves hung on my closet door, one leg poised in mid-air before he delivered a smoking fastball. Time passed and Spahn’s picture gave way to others; Elvis, John F. Kennedy, Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Ben Hogan. These heroic images have reflected back to me what I hoped to become: a man with good moves, a sex symbol, an electrifying orator, a plumber of depths, a teller of tales, a graceful golfer. Like serpents, we keep shedding the skins of our heroes as we move toward new phases in our lives. Like many of my generation, I have a weakness for hero worship. At some point, however, we all begin to question our heroes and our need for them. This leads us to ask: What is a hero? Despite immense differences in cultures, heroes around the world generally share a number of traits that instruct and inspire people. A hero does something worth talking about.

Topic Sentence #1:
Heroes serve powers or principles larger than themselves.

Supporting Details:
A hero goes beyond being famous or being a celebrity and they take the energy of higher powers and bring it down for the use of normal people.

Topic Sentence #2:
The hero lives a life worthy of imitation.

Supporting Details:
Those who imitate a hero experience life with new depth and meaning. A test for would be heroes is what or whom they serve and what they are willing to live or die for.

Topic Sentence #3:
Heroes are catalysts for change.

Supporting Details:
They have a vision and skill and charm that can influence others by creating new possibilities. Without people like Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr., the world would be much different and without charismatic leaders, the pace of change in the world would be really slow.

My Christmas break was surprisingly awesome. I thought it was gonna suck because none of my family was visiting us and we weren’t going anywhere. Luckily, I had Netflix and I have been watching How I Met Your Mother on it lately so this made my break so much better than it would’ve been. I watched all seven seasons of it and as Barney would say, “It was legendary!” I also played a lot of Skyrim and that was pretty awesome too. I got an iPhone 5 for Christmas so I was pretty excited about that. Overall, I didn’t really have one specific good thing during Christmas break because most of it was awesome.

1) Cut down on the amount of television I watch by giving myself a certain amount of hours a week to watch tv.
2) Get in shape by working out a certain amount of time each day.
3) Start eating healthier by cutting down on the amount of junk food and fast food I consume and start eating healthier foods.

Fear is something that every human being experiences in their life. Whether it be the fear of sharks, snakes, or heights, every single person has a fear. To be honest, I don’t think that most people’s fears are rational because the things they are afraid of happening are extremely unlikely, such as getting killed by a shark which is less likely than getting killed by a coconut. But I am a human being too so of course I have irrational fears just like everyone else.

I really wish I was in California right now. I wish I was on the beach, soaking up the sun, and not giving a care about anything in the world. I wish I was surfing with my cousin and driving around to all the good surf spots. I wish I was golfing in that incredible California weather. I wish I could just get on a plane right now and fly to my Aunt’s house right on the beach. Sadly, I have to wait till Spring Break to go there. These next two months are gonna be really long.
